H.A.P.A. Committees

The following are the HAPA Committees.
We want to know your interest in participating in any of the H.A.P.A. Committes.
Please review the descriptions below and follow the directions at the bottom of the page.


COMMITTEES

Membership Committee
Chair: Vassilis Latoussakis, M.D.
Co-Chair: Emmanuel Cassimatis, M.D.
Member: Athanasios Vidalis, M.D.
Member: Iannis Zervas, M.D.
This committee is responsible for the processing of HAPA membership applications

1. Verify membership in good standing status for APA and AACAP psychiatrists.
2. Verify membership in good standing status for HPA psychiatrists.
3. Verify membership in good standing status for all other applicants.
4. Develop procedures and initiatives for HAPA membership recruitment and retention.


Program Committee
Chair: George Petrides, M.D.
Co-Chair: Maria Lymberis, MD
Member: Emmanuel Cassimatis, M.D.
Member: George Papadimitriou, M.D.
This committee is responsible for the Annual HAPA Program.
Works with the President to finalize program which is submitted for final approval to the HAPA Executive Committee.


Ethics Committee
Chair: Emmanuel Cassimatis, M.D.
Member: Kanellos Charalambous, M.D.


Budget Committee
Chair: Vassilis Latoussakis, M.D.
Member: Nicolas E. Stratas, M.D.
Member: George Papakostas, M.D.
This committee is responsible for filing all of the HAPA income tax papers, presenting to the HAPA Executive Committee the HAPA operating budget and advising re financial matters.


Website/Newsletter Committee
Chair:  Maria T. Lymberis, M.D.
Co-Chair: Emmanuel Cassimatis, M.D.
This committee is responsible for publishing at least one issue per year of the HAPA Newsletter.


Nominating Committee

By-Laws Committee
